Thank you very much, loved the video. Informative, useful and interesting. Do you know how easy it is to deal with signs when multiplying? so here is, I now write) plus this friend, minus this enemy. Here's a simple rule : (+)*(+) = (+) - friend of my friend = my friend ((-)*(-) =(+) - the enemy of my enemy is my friend (+)*(-) = (-) - my enemy's friend is my enemy (-)*(+)=(-) - my friend's enemy is my enemy. Hope you enjoy it 😊
hi! I want to say thank you for the video. This is very informative and useful for children learning English. Also, the teacher himself explains quite well. Many operations with fractions will be useful to schoolchildren when giving yeg and og in secondary school. In the case of fractions, the simplest operations are multiplication and division. When multiplied, the numerator is multiplied by the numerator and the denominator is multiplied by the denominator. With addition and subtraction of fractions with the same denominators everything is quite simple: it is necessary to add or subtract numerators of fractions. And with different denominators it is more difficult: before their addition or subtraction it is necessary to find a common denominator of a fraction. Магомедова Эсмира
Ibragimova B. Thanks for the simple and useful video. Nice girl very clearly explained everything. It was interesting to watch. Being a student of the faculty of mathematics never hurts to remember the basic operations with fractions.
Good and clear explanation After watching the video any student will be able to perform basic operations on fractions I really liked the video Thank you very much Great job Alieva Ashura.
I really liked the video. This is very informative and useful for students studying math. Clear and understandable schemes. I very often use this video to study fractions in English. Thank you for this video Kahrimanova Maryam
In my opinion, this video was very informative, and the teacher explained the basic operations with fractions well, I personally use these operations almost every day and I think that they greatly facilitate the solution of problems and equations, I also want to say that without their operations in real life will be difficult and everyone should own them!

This video is very useful and informative because the teacher talks about the basic operations with fractions, which are addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of fractions. I also learned a new way of adding fractions, which I will use in the future. MAMAEV ASKERHAN
This video was very useful and educational, and the basic operations with fractions were quite clear. I use these operations about 3 times a week and I think that they make it much easier to solve problems and equations that are given to us at home. These operations can help not only in professional activities, but also in life situations.
video talks about actions on fractions. I think for those who have just started to study fractions it will be very useful, explains and shows with examples as clearly as possible. I will definitely advise my younger brother to watch this video.
Probably everyone has come across them. Operations with fractions should be known to everyone, since these are basic operations in mathematics. I liked this video tutorial and how the teacher explained it clearly. I will not write in detail about these operations, for this watch the video. Taking this opportunity, I want to say hello to all my friends!
Nice and clear explanation. Very informative and useful for both students and schoolchildren. Clear and understandable diagrams. Thank you very much, the video turned out to be very informative.
Thank you very much, the video is presented in an informative way, everything is clear and remembered quite well. How well they explained! The theme of fractions is one of the most difficult for schoolchildren. It can be quite difficult for an unprepared child to understand them, and even more so to perform operations with them. But even the most difficult task can become simple and understandable if you approach it correctly. I will definitely tell my nephew to watch this video, since he has not been able to figure this out for a long time. I think after watching this video, he will figure it out. I will wait for another video.
Adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions is something everyone is faced with. I think it was not bad, especially for mathematicians, to repeat them. The video is very informative, the girl briefly and very clearly explained everything. From the above presented material, we see that with the addition and subtraction of fractional numbers with the same denominators, everything is simple. If the denominators are different, the common denominator must already be determined. When multiplying, the numerator is multiplied by the numerator, and the denominator by the denominator. When dividing, the second fraction is reversed and happens the same as when multiplying. Suleimanova Saida
This video showed arithmetic operations on fractions: their addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. They explained the topic very well. After watching this video, every student who has had problems with them will understand. When adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominators, everything is very simple, and if they are different, then you need to find their common denominator. When multiplying fractions: the numerator is multiplied by the numerator, and the denominator by the denominator. When dividing fractions: the second fraction must be turned over while the division changes to multiplication, and then calculate as in the multiplication operation.
Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of fractions, four types of elements that everyone will face. And this video will help you master each of them. The first is of course the addition of fractions, it is enough just to add fractions with a common denominator, and with different ones we find the common denominator using multiplication. With the subtraction of fractions, we do everything exactly the same, only this time we subtract. The next multiplication of fractions, it is necessary to multiply the numerator by the numerator, the denominator by the denominator nothing complicated. And the last one is the division of fractions, here the second fraction is turned over and everything is done exactly the same as with the multiplication of fractions. After watching this video, the following judgments came to my mind. I find this video very useful, useful not only for beginners who are just starting to learn fractions and the basic operations associated with them , but also for high school students who sometimes forget how to do it. Excellent teacher's explanation in a very simple language for a native speaker, since even I understood what she was saying. The record of the process of reducing fractions to a common denominator is slightly different from the one we are familiar with, but this is insignificant. The video was really good, it's interesting to see how teachers explain it outside of Russia. Зайнудинова Камила 2к2гр
In the video, 4 types of arithmetic operations are explained to us: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. 1) Addition of fractions, it is enough just to add fractions with a common denominator, but if the denominators are different, then we multiply. 2) With the subtraction of fractions, we do everything as in the first example, only we subtract. 3) In multiplying fractions, the numerator must be multiplied by the numerator, the denominator by the denominator. 4) The last division of fractions, here the second fraction is reversed and multiplied. Thank you very much, the video is presented in an informative way, everything is clear and remembered quite well. I use these operations about 5 times a week and I think they make it much easier to solve problems and equations that we are asked at home. These operations can help not only in professional activities, but also in life situations. .Here's another way in multiplying fractions.Say you have 3/4 × 12/9. Now,if the denominator of the first fraction and the numerator of the second fraction have a Greatest Common Denominator, divide each of them by their GCF(Greatest Common Factor). The GCF(Greatest Common Factor) of 4 and 12 is 4,so divide both of them by 4. 4÷4=1,12÷4=3,change those numbers into their quotients. If the numerator of the first fraction and the denominator of the second fraction have a GCF(Greatest Common Factor),do the same thing. GCF(Greatest Common Factor) of 3 and 9 is 3,3÷3=1,9÷3=3,making the fractions 1/1 × 3/3=3/3 or 3. Just don't do it if the conditions are not there.
I liked this video, I find it useful and informative enough to learn fractions from it. I will come back to this video again. I think this video will help not only me, but also many to understand fractions. @Mirzaev
In this video women explains 4 basic operations with fractions 1) first basic operation is addition. Firstly if the denominator are the same, you have to simply add the numerators and leave the denominator unchanged. If it is not, you have to find the lowest number that both denominators can be divided. 2) second one is the subtraction. Here you have to do the same thing as with addition, but subract the numerators.
She also made an example with summing two fractions, such as 3 over 5 add with one fourth. Here, first of all, you have to find lowest number that five and four can go into and that number is 20. So, she gonna make both the denominators 20. Then, she divide 20 by the current working fraction's denominator and get a factor for numerator, then she multiply this factor by the current fraction's numerator and bring it into current working fraction as a numerator. Also make this operation with another addend. Then, when the fractions have the same denominator, add them and make an answer. (do the same thing with subraction)
3) next basic operations is multiplying. You have to multiply the numerator with the numerator, and the denominator with the denominator. Working with previously fractions, you have to multiply 3 by 1 and 5 by 4 and bring the results to new fraction: 3/20. 4) when I divide two fractions, I have to keep in mind first fractions, change the division sign into a multiplication sign and change my second fraction into its reciprocal (flipped the fraction). So, working with the above fractions as an example, you have to make next expression: 1/3 * 4/5
In the video author told about how to do a basic operations with fractions.
If denominators are the same, then all we have to do is to find sum of numerators. We can do the same if we deal with subtraction.
If denominators are not the same, we have to find their least common factor. Expression looks like this:
a / b + c / d = = (a * h) / (b * h) + (c * k) / (d * k) = = (a * h + c * k) / j
...where j = b * h = d + k
To multiply two fractions we have to multiply numerator by numerator and denominator by denominator. To divide fraction by fraction we have to write product of the first numerator and the second denominator as a numerator and product of the first denominator and the second numerator as a denominator.
In this video, Maria talks about the use of arithmetic operations in fractions. First, we talk about adding and subtracting fractions with equal denominators. The easiest. It is necessary to add or subtract the numerators, and leave the denominators the same. In the case when the denominators are not equal, it is already different. First you need to calculate the least common denominator, bring both fractions to this denominator and only then add or subtract. There is also nothing complicated about multiplying fractions. There is no need to find the least common denominator. You just need to multiply the numerator by the numerator and the denominator by the denominator. In division, everything is different. We leave the first fraction as it is, change the division sign to multiplication, and turn the second fraction, that is, we swap the numerator and denominator. And just multiply the resulting fractions.
Very interesting video I want add here's another way in multiplying fractions. Say you have 3/4 x 12/9. Now,if the denominator of the first fraction and the numerator of the second fraction have a Greatest Common Denominator, divide each of them by their GCF. The GCF of 4 and 12 is 4,so divide both of them by 4. 4+4=1,12+4=3,change those numbers into their quotients. If the numerator of the first fraction and the denominator of the second fraction have a GCF,do the same thing. GCF of 3 and 9 is 3,3+3=1,9+3=3,making the fractions 1/1 x 3/3=3/3 or 3. Just don't do it if the conditions are not there.

Fractions can be added, subtracted, multiplied and divided. Fractions can also be compared with each other. Everything that can be done with ordinary numbers can be done with fractions. Basic operations on fractions is the most difficult and at the same time easy topic for sixth graders. Since operations on fractions begin to take place in the sixth grade. This video can also be shown to schoolchildren, because in this video it is explained very easily and intelligibly. That's why I liked this video.
Respect to the author, it is very informative, everything is clear and remembered quite well. I have a very bad relationship with fractions, but almost every day I come here to repeat how it all works, and in principle it's a little easier to untie fractions. Thanks again for the video!
This video explains the simple rules of operations on fractions. The video will be useful for schoolchildren who already know about fractions, but do not know how to perform operations on them. In this video, Maria explained to us how to do addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with fractions. When adding with the same denominators, we simply add the numerators and do not change the denominator. If, when adding the denominators are different, we use multiplication by the whole fraction to bring them to a common denominator and simply add the numerators, and rewrite the changed denominator. When multiplying fractions, we multiply the numerator by the numerator, the denominator by the denominator, and get an answer that can be reduced by dividing the numerator and the denominator by one number. When dividing two fractions, we leave the first fraction and in the second we swap the numerator and denominator and then multiply the first fraction by the second as in the usual multiplication.
I just watched a very useful and interesting video during which I repeated the basic operations with fractions: addition subtraction division multiplication. To add two fractions, you need to find the lowest common denominator, multiply the numerators by the corresponding numbers and add them. to subtract two fractions, you need to do the same thing, but at the end, subtract the numerator of the second fraction from the numerator of the first fraction. To multiply two fractions, you just need to multiply the numerator of the first fraction by the numerator of the second and multiply the denominator of the first fraction by the denominator of the second fraction. To divide, you need to change the sign of division by multiplication and flip the second fraction, then multiply the first fraction by the second

In this video author teaches us how to use 4 basic operations with fractions. In case of addition and subtraction we leave the denominator the same and just add or subtract nominators. If we talk about multiplying, we should multiply the nominators to each other and then divide it by product of the denominators. We do same for the division, apart from the fact that we have to flip the second fraction.
this video describes the basic operations with fractions. 1) In the case when fractions have the same denominators, addition, subtraction, multiplication is performed between the numerators. 2) in another case, we must bring them to a common denominator, then multiply the numerator of the first fraction by the denominator of the second, then multiply the numerator of the second fraction by the denominator of the first, and multiply the denominators. as a result, we can work with them as in case 1. to divide, we must flip the second fraction and find the product. This is a very informative and useful video for both children and students learning English. In this video, everything is explained in great detail. In the case of fractions, the simplest operations are multiplication and division. With addition and subtraction of fractions with the same denominators, everything is quite simpler, but with different denominators it is a little more complicated. I think, for the case of addition of fractions with different denominators, can be used the trick, shown in the video about comparison of fractions. Here it is: the denominator of the sum, will be a product of the denominators of the given fractions, and the numerator will be a sum of two products: the numerator of the first fraction multiplied by the denominator of the second and vice versa. And then, it is to be reduced, if needed. Nevertheless, it's a good explanation of basic ideas.
In this video, we are told about four basic fractional arithmetic operations. The simplest of these are addition and subtraction operations. If the denominators of the fractions are the same, add or subtract the numerators and leave the denominator unchanged. If they are different, then you need to find the common denominator of the fraction. When multiplying fractions, the numerator is multiplied by the numerator, and the denominator by the denominator. And during the division operation, the divisor is inverted relative to the numerator and denominator, and then the multiplication operation is performed. I find this video very useful, especially for English learners.
This informative video talks about addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of fractions. In my opinion, all these operations are easy, and for those who do not know well, I recommend watching the video until you understand. I 'll tell you briefly how to calculate . When adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator, you need to add or subtract the numerators of the fractions. And if with different denominators in a slightly different way: before adding or subtracting them, you need to find the common denominator of the fraction. When multiplying, the numerator is multiplied by the numerator, and the denominator is multiplied by the denominator. When dividing fractions, the divisor is reversed relative to the numerator and denominator, and then the fractions are multiplied. Here I have told you more in detail. Of course, it's great that there is such a video for studying fractions.

Fractions are quite an interesting topic and it is always informative to hear this lesson in English, especially if you know these topics, it is very pleasant to learn them from another language. Гусейнов Зинхар
All arithmetic operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, applied to integers, are applied in the same way to fractions. For example, when adding / subtracting fractions with the same denominator, we calculate the result of the operation and write it over the denominator. In opposite case, you must first bring the fractions to a common denominator, and only then calculate the result. When multiplying fractions, everything is much simpler, you just need to multiply the denominator of one fraction by the numerator of another and vice versa. If we are dividing two fractions, we must proceed to multiply by inverting the second fraction.
Thanks for the video thanks to this video, I learned that when subtracting and adding two fractional numbers, it is necessary that the denominator of the first and second numbers be equal, if they are not equal they need to be brought to a common denominator, I also learned that during the multiplication operation we multiply the numerator of the first number by the numerator of the second number and divide the result by the product of the denominator of the first and second numbers. When dividing , we write the product of the numerator of the first number and the denominator of the second number into the numerator , and in place of the denominator , the product of the denominator of the first number and the numerator of the second number

Very interesting and informative lesson. We repeated how to add and subtract fractions with the same denominators (for this we simply add or subtract their numerators) or different denominators (we come to the same denominator and add / subtract in the same way as in the first case). We also remembered how to multiply (we multiply the numerators among ourselves and the denominators) and divide fractions (we multiply the first fraction by the second inverted fraction), which is also very important
This lesson will be useful for those who would like to learn or repeat the basic operations on fractional numbers. It explains very clearly 4 basic operations on fractional numbers: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
The operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division over fractions are very easy to remember after watching this video lesson, as the teacher explains everything clearly in it, it is worth watching for everyone, since fractions are often found in our lives. Shamsiev Imran

ADDING/SUBTRACTION FRACTIONS WITH UNLIKE DENOMINATORS 1.Find a common denominator.
2.Rewrite each fraction as an equivalent fraction using the common denominator.
3.Now that the fractions have a common denominator, you can add/subtract the numerators.
4.Simplify by canceling out all common factors in the numerator and denominator.
MULTIPLICATION OF FRACTIONS
We have to multiply the numerators with the numerator and the denominator with the denominator.
DIVISION OF FRACTIONS
We have to change the division sign in a multiplication sign by reciprocal the next term as making the numerator a denominator and denominator a numerator.

In order to compare any two fractions, you need to multiply both fractions by a common denominator, and then compare the resulting integers. This algorithm also works for negative fractions.
And as for the comparison of fractions . I learned a lot of new things for myself . So , you can simply multiply the numerator of one fraction and the denominator another fraction . Next, we choose the largest of the two resulting numbers. Thank you for such a detailed explanation .
What about comparing fractions. From this video i learn how to figure it out which fraction is greater or less. We multiply the denominator with the numerator of the opposite fraction and choose the largest of two numbers. For my opinion, this video is very informative.

This video helped me to better read the technical documentation of some technologies and now I understand where arithmetic operations are mentioned and I can read about them without a translator. I think the topic is covered very primitively and I would like more in-depth material, I will wait for new videos, I subscribed, put a like and a bell on notifications !!
This was the most helpful video, on my favorite couple, and from the best teacher English at DSU Zalevskaya Tatiana Evgenevna!!!!!!!!
If I get a offset for the modules, then I promise to shoot the same video.
This video provides the easiest description of all 4 operations with fractions: addition, subtraction, division and multiplication. 1.When multiplied, the numerator is multiplied by the numerator and the denominator is multiplied by the denominator. 2.When dividing, you need to rewrite the first fraction and multiply by the inverted second fraction. 3.With addition and subtraction of fractions with the same denominators everything is quite simple: it is necessary to add or subtract numerators of fractions. And with different denominators it is more difficult: before their addition or subtraction it is necessary to find a common denominator of a fraction.
we learnt something new about fractions watching this video at the beginning we learnt about the construction of the fractions and different kinds of them. now we know how to add, to subtract, to multiply and the divide the fractions. in addition and subtraction there is not very difficult. at first, we look at the denominator. if the denominators of the given two fractions are the same, we just take one of numerator and add or subtract it to the other. this number we write in the numerator of the new fraction, and the denominator of the new fraction is the same in the case of different denominators, we must bring both fractions to a common denominator. we can do this by choosing the least number, which will consists both denominators as multiplication. then we must know, by what numbers we should multiply both fractions to get the common denominator. then we multiply the denominator and the numerator of one fraction to his number, and do the same for the another fraction to its number. and the last step is to add of subtract them as in the case of common denominators. also we can multiply and divide the fractions. when we multiply them, the answer will be a fraction with the multiplication of two numerators of the given fractions as the numerator, and the same with the denominator when we divide them, we do the same as in the case of multiplication, but the fraction which is the divisor we must invert : swap about the numerator and denominator. after this we multiply the new fractions and the answer of their multiplication will be the quotient.
This is very informative and useful for students who learn English. Also, the teacher himself explains quite well. This video explains 4 types of operations on fractions. Addition of fractions, you just need to add fractions with a common denominator, and with different ones we find a common denominator using multiplication. With the subtraction of fractions, we do everything exactly the same, only this time we subtract. Multiplying fractions, the numerator is multiplied by the numerator, and the denominator by the denominator. Division of fractions, the second fraction needs to be reversed until division turns into multiplication, and then calculated as in the operation of multiplication. Thanks for the great video!
In this video, the teacher was able to explain in detail and clearly how to perform arithmetic operations with fractions. Operations are simple. When adding two fractions, we need to look at their denominators. It's easy to add fractions with a common denominator by simply adding the numerators. And we get a fraction whose numerator is equal to the sum, and the denominator does not change. However, if the denominators are different, then we need to find their common divisor (the least common multiple of the denominators), and then perform the addition operation. Similarly with subtraction, only this time we subtract the numerators.
If we multiply two fractions, we need to multiply the numerator of the first fraction by the numerator of the other fraction, similarly with the denominator. In the case of division, we swap the numerator and denominator of the second fraction, then multiply it by the first fraction. Thanks for the informative video!
This video is about operations on fractions. 4 easy steps: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division. After watching this video, you can better master the operations on fractions because the teacher's explanations are very simple and accessible.
This beautiful girl talked about the four basic arithmetic operations on fractions. If two fractions have the same denominators, then: 1) their denominators will remain unchanged 2) their sum and difference will be the sum and difference of the numerators of the two fractions. For example, 1/7 + 2/7 = 3/7, 4/9 - 2/9 = 2/9. If the denominators are not the same, then both fractions must be reduced to the same denominator. To do this, you need to multiply two fractions by a number so that the denominators of both fractions are the same. For example, 4/5 + 2/3. The total number of 5 and 3 is 15, so we multiply the first fraction by 3 and the second by 5, 12/15 + 10/15 = 22/15. The same goes for the subtraction operation. When multiplying fractions, the numerator of the first fraction is multiplied by the numerator of the second fraction, and the denominator of the first fraction is multiplied by the denominator of the second. For example, 1/2 * 3/4 = 3/8. 4/5 * 10/16 in this case, you can reduce fractions, because the numerator of the first fraction and the denominator of the second fraction, as well as the denominator of the first fraction and the numerator of the second fraction, have the greatest common factor, it will turn out like this 1/1 * 2/4 = 2/4 and this fraction can be reduced = 1/2. When dividing fractions, the second fraction is flipped and multiplications are performed. For example, 4/9 / 5/7 = 4/9 * 7/5 = 28/45
Four basic arithmetic operations on fractions. When adding and subtracting fractions, denominators should be given. For example, 1/3 + 3/7 should be 1/3 multiplied by 7, and the fraction 3/7 multiplied by 3, you get 7/21 + 9/21 = 16/21. When multiplying, the numerator with the numerator and the denominator with the denominator are simply multiplied. When dividing, the second fraction is inverted and multiplication is performed. Example: 1/2 ÷ 3/4 = 1/2 * 4/3 = 2/3.
This video was very informative, and the teacher explained the basic operations with fractions well. Fractions can be added, subtracted, multiplied and divided. Fractions can also be compared with each other. When multiplying, the numerator is multiplied by the numerator, and the denominator is multiplied by the denominator. This video provides a clear and visual explanation of multiplication and division of fractions in English. The presenter demonstrates the process of multiplication and division of fractions well, using various methods and examples. This resource will be useful for those who want to improve their understanding of multiplication and division of fractions.
To add fractions as long as they have the same denominator all you have to do is to add the numerators. Same thing with substraction. If the denominators are not the same first you need to make them the same. To do this you need to find the least common denominator. Then you find the number by which you need to multiply the denominator of first fraction to get the least common denominator and to multiply the numerator of this fraction by this number. Then do the same thing with second fraction. Now you have two fractions with the same denominator. When you divide fractions you need to keep your first fraction the same, change your division bar into multiplication bar, and change your second fraction into its reciprocal (to get a reciprocal you need just to flip the fraction).
This video will be very useful for both students and teachers, as teachers can take an example and explain it to students. Абдулгамидова Аминат 2к 2 гр

If fractions have the same denominator, they can simply be added or subtracted by adding or subtracting the numerators.
If the denominators are different, then they must first be brought to a common denominator. To do this, find the lowest common denominator and multiply the numerator of each fraction by the number by which you need to multiply the denominator to get the common denominator.
When dividing fractions, we keep the first fraction unchanged, replace the division sign with multiplication and replace the second fraction with its inverse (to get the inverse fraction, it is enough to flip the fraction).

After watching a video on how to do simple fraction operations, I learned that there are certain rules you need to follow to add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions. For example, to add fractions you need to find a common denominator, and to multiply fractions you need to multiply the numerator by the numerator and the denominator by the denominator. This video helped me better understand the basics of working with fractions and now I'm ready to put this knowledge into practice.
The teacher shows arithmetic operations with fractions: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. she explained the topic very well for those who did not know how to solve fractions.
This video will be beneficial for both students and teachers, as educators can use it to provide examples and explanations to students.
When fractions share a common denominator, they can be added or subtracted by directly adding or subtracting the numerators.
In cases where the denominators are different, they need to be made consistent by finding the lowest common denominator. This involves identifying the smallest common multiple and then multiplying the numerator of each fraction by the required factor to ensure the denominators are the same.
In division of fractions, the first fraction remains unaltered, the division sign is replaced with multiplication, and the second fraction is replaced with its reciprocal (simply by flipping the fraction).
In this video, everything was explained in detail and clearly, it will be useful for both students and teachers, as teachers can give examples and explain this material to students. Excellent teacher's explanation in a very simple language for a native speaker, since even I understood what she was saying.

In this video women explains 4 basic operations with fractions
ОтветитьУдалить1) first basic operation is addition.
Mahmudov Omar
In the video author told about how to do a basic operations with fractions.
ОтветитьУдалитьIf denominators are the same, then all we have to do is to find sum of numerators. We can do the same if we deal with subtraction.
If denominators are not the same, we have to find their least common factor. Expression looks like this:
a / b + c / d =
= (a * h) / (b * h) + (c * k) / (d * k) =
= (a * h + c * k) / j
...where j = b * h = d + k
To multiply two fractions we have to multiply numerator by numerator and denominator by denominator.
To divide fraction by fraction we have to write product of the first numerator and the second denominator as a numerator and product of the first denominator and the second numerator as a denominator.
In this video, Maria talks about the use of arithmetic operations in fractions.
ОтветитьУдалитьFirst, we talk about adding and subtracting fractions with equal denominators.
And just multiply the resulting fractions.

fraction and the numerator of the second fraction have

by their GCF. The GCF of 4 and 12 is 4,so divide both of
them by 4. 4+4=1,12+4=3,change those numbers into
their quotients. If the numerator of the first fraction
and the denominator of the second fraction have a
GCF,do the same thing. GCF of 3 and 9 is
3,3+3=1,9+3=3,making the fractions 1/1 x 3/3=3/3 or
3. Just don't do it if the conditions are not there.

ОтветитьУдалитьI just watched a very useful and interesting video during which I repeated the basic operations with fractions: addition subtraction division multiplication.

ОтветитьУдалитьIn case of addition and subtraction we leave the denominator the same and just add or subtract nominators.
If we talk about multiplying, we should multiply the nominators to each other and then divide it by product of the denominators. We do same for the division, apart from the fact that we have to flip the second fraction.

ОтветитьУдалитьthis video describes the basic operations with fractions.

I think, for the case of addition of fractions with different denominators, can be used the trick, shown in the video about comparison of fractions.
ОтветитьУдалитьHere it is: the denominator of the sum, will be a product of the denominators of the given fractions, and the numerator will be a sum of two products: the numerator of the first fraction multiplied by the denominator of the second and vice versa.

ОтветитьУдалитьAll arithmetic operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, applied to integers, are applied in the same way to fractions.
ОтветитьУдалитьThanks for the video thanks to this video, I learned that when subtracting and adding two fractional numbers, it is necessary that the denominator of the first and second numbers be equal, if they are not equal they need to be brought to a common denominator, I also learned that during the multiplication operation we multiply the numerator of the first number by the numerator of the second number and divide the result by the product of the denominator of the first and second numbers. When dividing , we write the product of the numerator of the first number and the denominator of the second number into the numerator , and in place of the denominator , the product of the denominator of the first number and the numerator of the second number

ОтветитьУдалитьIn this video, Maria talks about the use of arithmetic operations in fractions.
And just multiply the resulting fractions.

we learnt something new about fractions watching this video
ОтветитьУдалитьat the beginning we learnt about the construction of the fractions and different kinds of them. now we know how to add, to subtract, to multiply and the divide the fractions.
in addition and subtraction there is not very difficult. at first, we look at the denominator. if the denominators of the given two fractions are the same, we just take one of numerator and add or subtract it to the other. this number we write in the numerator of the new fraction, and the denominator of the new fraction is the same
in the case of different denominators, we must bring both fractions to a common denominator. we can do this by choosing the least number, which will consists both denominators as multiplication. then we must know, by what numbers we should multiply both fractions to get the common denominator. then we multiply the denominator and the numerator of one fraction to his number, and do the same for the another fraction to its number. and the last step is to add of subtract them as in the case of common denominators.
also we can multiply and divide the fractions. when we multiply them, the answer will be a fraction with the multiplication of two numerators of the given fractions as the numerator, and the same with the denominator
when we divide them, we do the same as in the case of multiplication, but the fraction which is the divisor we must invert : swap about the numerator and denominator. after this we multiply the new fractions and the answer of their multiplication will be the quotient.

In this video, the teacher was able to explain in detail and clearly how to perform arithmetic operations with fractions.
ОтветитьУдалитьOperations are simple.

ОтветитьУдалитьTo add fractions as long as they have the same denominator all you have to do is to add the numerators. Same thing with substraction.
ОтветитьУдалитьIf the denominators are not the same first you need to make them the same.
